The Team Behind Every Mile
Southern Sky Logistics is a veteran-owned Amazon Freight Partner based in Spartanburg, South Carolina — founded and led by an operator with real experience behind the wheel.
Built by Operators
Southern Sky Logistics was founded by Crystal Orr, a U.S. Air Force veteran with a career defined by operational excellence. After eight years of military service, Crystal spent two decades leading medical operations at UT Southwestern and Baylor Scott & White — environments where precision, compliance, and people leadership are the standard.
Before launching Southern Sky Logistics, she served as Director of Operations at Onpoint Trucking, bringing military discipline and healthcare-grade operational rigor to freight logistics.
Crystal built Southern Sky Logistics on a simple principle: the people who do the work deserve leaders who understand the work.

Our Values
Show Up
Leadership is present, visible, and accessible. Every driver has a direct line to the people who run this company.
Say It Straight
We communicate with specifics, clarity, and honesty. What we commit to during hiring is exactly what you can count on.
Have Your Back
Loyalty runs both ways. When something goes wrong on the road, our first call is to figure out how to help — and our drivers know their team is behind them.
Earn It Daily
Our standards are high because excellence demands it — from drivers, dispatchers, and leadership alike. We bring the same discipline we learned in uniform to every mile we run.
